Advancing the Choice

13th Annual “Advancing the Choice” Expo:

The Advancing the Choice Expo is one of the largest events in the Inland region that provides real solutions for people to live better, healthier lives with less impact on the environment. Regional leaders and others have the opportunity to learn more about alternative fuel technologies and vehicles being used successfully throughout Riverside County and around the country. More than 150 people from the Southern California region and other air quality related entities attend to discuss challenges and solutions to air pollution created by vehicles at the “Advancing the Choice” Expo.

The Expo included conference sessions that focus on air quality legislation and regulations, the need for greener vehicles, emerging technologies, vehicle retrofitting, discussions surrounding the pressures on fleets for air quality improvement, overviews of programs to reduce vehicle related emissions, and viable initiatives for reducing air emissions in the region. Additionally, the Expo features one-stop shopping for fleet managers by bringing together vehicle manufacturers, dealers, fuel providers, and equipment suppliers to answer questions and showcase products.

Two keynote speakers of past events include Terry Tamminen, Chief Policy Advisor for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and V. John White, Executive Director of the center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies (CEERT).
