The WRCOG Finance Department is responsible for budget management, payroll, purchasing, assets, accounting, debt management, investments, and financial reporting. Above all, the Finance Department values integrity, accountability, and transparency, and is committed to providing the highest quality support services in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to its member jurisdictions.
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the Western Riverside Council of Governments contains financial statements that have been prepared in conformity with the United States generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) prescribed for governmental entities.

Salary and Stipends
WRCOG currently supports its member jurisdictions with 22 full-time employees. The Agency's Staff Salary Structure is provided here.
WRCOG provides stipends to its Executive Committee and Administration & Finance Committee members for regular meeting attendance, as welll as to those members who have been appointed to represent WRCOG at various local and regional agencies.
On February 6, the WRCOG Executive Committee approved the WRCOG 2nd Quarter Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2015/2016.
